Fallas bullfighting fair in Valencia: the 2026 line-up, and the festival programme that shares its name

In Spanish, "cartel de Fallas" means both the line-up of the Fallas bullfighting fair and the programme of festival events. Here is the 2026 bullfighting line-up event by event, how tickets were sold and where to find the Fallas programme.

Fallas bullfighting fair in Valencia: the 2026 line-up, and the festival programme that shares its name

Anyone searching for the "cartel de Fallas" in Valencia finds two things that have nothing to do with each other: the bullfighting line-up of the Fallas Fair and the programme of festival events. The first is paid and takes place in the bullring; the second is free and takes place in the street.

This page separates the two, gives the full 2026 bullfighting line-up and says what we have not been able to document.

What are people looking for when they search "cartel de Fallas"?

  • The bullfighting line-up: the list of events at the Fallas Fair, from 7 to 19 March 2026.
  • The programme of events: the Junta Central Fallera document, available as a PDF, with the mascletà, the Ofrenda (flower offering) and the Cremà.
  • The official poster: the edition's official image. None of the sources we consulted documents it, so we do not describe it.

The 2026 bullfighting line-up, event by event

The fair was presented on 14 January 2026 with one novillada without picadors, two with picadors, six bullfights, one mounted bullfight and two popular events. Every event started at 17:00, except the mounted bullfight on Sunday 15 at 12:00.

Thursday 19 MarchBullfightNúñez del Cuvillo, for Alejandro Talavante, Emilio de Justo and Juan Ortega

The two popular events do not appear with a time or detail in any single official source. Nor do all reports break down the novilladas (fights with young bulls) in the same way: some simply say three, others list the one without picadors separately. We keep the breakdown from the official presentation.

The bullfights on 17, 18 and 19 March fall in the middle of Fallas week, the most expensive nights of the year in Valencia. If the fair is the reason for your trip, the events from the 7th to the 14th fall when a central three-star hotel costs around €100 to €160, against €250 to €500 from the 17th to the 19th.

How were tickets sold?

Single tickets went on sale on the bullring's official website on 27 January 2026 at midnight, and from 10:00 the same day at Nautalia travel agencies in the province. The physical ticket offices opened on 4 March 2026.

We do not give a price. None of the sources we consulted publishes a verifiable table by seating area, and a "from" price without the part of the ring does not help you decide.

The other "cartel": the programme of events

The 2026 Fallas programme ran from 16 January to 19 March 2026 according to Visit Valencia, although most of it falls from 1 to 19 March. The Junta Central Fallera publishes it as a PDF, in Spanish and in Valencian, and it has its own page: the Valencia Fallas 2026 programme.

For collectors of posters, llibrets (the booklets each falla publishes) and badges, the programme included a Fallas collectors' fair on 28 February from 10:00 to 13:30 in the gardens of the Junta Central Fallera. It is where old editions are swapped and sold.

Are the bullfights part of the Fallas?

No. The bullfighting fair is a separate commercial circuit, in an enclosed venue with paid entry. The Fallas programme lists free street events, and calling both the "cartel de Fallas" sets the wrong expectations for travellers.

What they do share is the calendar: the Crida, the Ofrenda and the Cremà run through the same stretch of March as the fair. The order of those events is in the Fallas 2026 calendar, event by event, and what each day feels like in the Fallas festival in Valencia.

Between the 17:00 bullfight and the next day's mascletà there is little time to cross the city, especially from 16 March, when the centre closes to traffic. Staying near the Estación del Norte puts both the bullring and Plaza del Ayuntamiento a few minutes' walk away.

Frequently asked questions

When was the 2026 Fallas bullfighting fair?
From 7 to 19 March 2026 at Valencia's bullring, next to the Estación del Norte. Events started at 17:00, except the mounted bullfight on Sunday 15, at 12:00.
How much were bullfight tickets during Fallas?
The sources we consulted do not publish a verifiable price table by seating area. That is why we give no figure: check the price at the bullring's official box office when tickets go on sale.
Are the bullfights part of the official Fallas programme?
No. The bullfighting fair is a separate, paid circuit run by the company that manages the bullring. The Junta Central Fallera programme covers the mascletà, the Ofrenda and the Cremà, which you can watch free in the street.
Where can I find the official Fallas poster?
The sources we consulted do not document the edition's official poster or its designer. The reference is the Junta Central Fallera, which publishes the official programme as a PDF.
