Valencia Fallas 2026 programme: the official PDFs and the events from January to March

The 2026 Fallas have already taken place, and their official programme is still the best template for planning 2027: the stretch from 1 to 19 March, the mascletà at 2pm and the Cremà on the 19th repeat every year.

The calendar of the main events is already in the Fallas 2026 calendar, event by event. This page adds what is missing: where the documents are, the January and February events and the exact order of the last day.

Where is the official programme PDF?

There are four official documents, and they do not say exactly the same thing. All the links below returned a PDF on 28 September 2026.

No English version appears among these documents. The Junta's programme was published in December 2025, and the city version carries a warning at the bottom: it had to be ratified by the Assembly of Falla Presidents. In other words, a provisional programme that circulates as final.

January and February: the events summaries leave out

Visit Valencia puts the programme from 16 January to 19 March 2026, but the city document starts on 11 January. Almost all of these events are institutional; the ones of interest to visitors are these.

Date and time in 2026EventPlace
16 January at 21:00Castell de la Gala, first fireworks of the seasonOld Turia riverbed
30 January at 22:00Exaltation of the Fallera Mayor, with fireworks at the endPalau de la Música
31 January at 17:30Exaltation of the Fallera Mayor InfantilPalau de la Música
6 February at 19:00Opening of the Ninot ExhibitionMuseu de les Ciències
22 February 2026, at 19:30Crida (the official call to the festival), preceded by the despertà wake-up firecrackers at 7:00 and 7:30Torres de Serranos
28 February 2026, at 17:30Ninot Parade, from the Glorieta to Calle XàtivaCentre
28 February from 10:00 to 13:30Fallas collectors' fairGardens of the Junta Central Fallera

February is the cheap way to catch the start of the festival: the Crida, the Ninot Parade and the Ninot Exhibition fall before March, when a central three-star hotel costs around €60 to €100 a night. Compare weekends at the end of February.

March, beyond the mascletà

Between one mascletà and the next, the March programme hides small events that never make the summaries and that you can watch for free.

  • The Cant de l'Estoreta contest, a traditional children's song: 1 March at 10:00.
  • The Ronda Fallera vintage car parade, starting in Plaza del Ayuntamiento: 6 March at 12:00.
  • The verdict on the children's Ninot Indultat (the pardoned figure), 14 March at 17:30, and on the main one, 15 March at 17:30.
  • The Ofrenda (flower offering), 17 and 18 March, from 15:30, which ends at around 1:00 on the first night and 0:40 on the second.

The city programme also details the time each sector passes along Calle de la Paz and Calle San Vicente. It is the useful table for knowing when a particular falla commission goes by, and it is only in the PDF.

In what order do the fallas burn on 19 March?

The Cremà is not a single moment: the programme staggers six different times, from the neighbourhood children's falla to the city's own falla in Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

Time in 2026What burns
8pmAll the children's fallas
8:30pmThe winning Sección Especial children's falla
9pmThe children's falla in Plaza del Ayuntamiento
10pmAll the big fallas
10:30pmThe winning Sección Especial big falla
11pmThe city falla in Plaza del Ayuntamiento

Before that, the Fire Parade (Cabalgata del Fuego) sets off from Calle de la Paz towards the Porta de la Mar. The city programme sets it on 19 March at 19:00, while another source we use on the site gave 19 March at 19:30. We show both times.

The night of the 19th ends after 23:00 and the centre stays closed to traffic until the early hours of the 20th. Staying in Valencia that night avoids an impossible journey back by car or train, and an early flight the next morning is easier from a bed in the city.

Which parts of this programme are useful for 2027?

The structure: the March stretch, the daily mascletà, the plantà (putting up the monuments) on the 15th and 16th, the Ofrenda on the 17th and 18th, the Nit del Foc on the 18th and the Cremà on the 19th. The January and February events move around more, because they are fitted to weekends.

What is not useful is the exact time of the minor events or the running order of the Ofrenda, which are redone every year. To experience it with a guide, compare walks and activities in Valencia; for the night fireworks, the Fallas castillos, and for the bullfighting line-up, the Fallas bullfighting fair.

What isn't published

The 2027 programme had not been published as of 28 September 2026. Nor have we found the full 2023 and 2024 programmes archived with their publication date; the 2025 one is still online.

No official document gives attendance per event or the opening time of the public areas for the mascletà. What each day feels like is in the Fallas festival in Valencia.
