Concerts in Valencia this weekend: the venues, the distances between them and which listings to trust

There is no single concert listing for Valencia, and the venues are not close together. La Marina, the Palau de la Música, La Rambleta, Sala Moon and Rock City are several kilometres apart, which shapes the weekend more than the line-up does.

This page explains which listing confirms a gig, how long it takes between venues, and uses the weekend of 2 to 4 October 2026 as an example.

Which listing confirms a concert?

Not all sources are equal. From most to least reliable:

  1. The venue's or promoter's website, with ticket sales: it is the only one that confirms.
  2. Visit Valencia, which covers the main concerts and series such as the autumn Circuit Viu.
  3. Aggregators (FindeValencia, Songkick, Planomato, Ticketmaster): useful for discovering, but they sometimes keep dates that have changed or were never confirmed.

The honest wording for a date that only appears on an aggregator is "scheduled according to the listing consulted", not "confirmed". How to cross-check listings for other events is in events in Valencia this weekend.

Transvision Vamp3 October at 21:00 at Sala MoonVisit Valencia, Songkick, Ticketmaster and FindeValencia

Other gigs that same weekend only appeared on aggregators: Andrés Suárez at Sala Moon, a Morricone tribute at La Rambleta, band concerts and the Film Symphony Orchestra at the Palau de la Música, and an afternoon party at Loco Club. For those, the venue has the final word.

Can you fit two concerts into one night?

Almost never. The distances below are geographical orders of magnitude, not times measured that weekend, and they leave out queues and the crowd leaving, which easily add 15 to 45 minutes.

JourneyApproximate distanceOn foot
La Marina and the centre4 to 5 km50 to 70 min
La Marina and the Palau de la Música3 to 4 km40 to 55 min, via the Turia
Sala Moon and the old town2 to 3 km30 to 40 min
Sala Moon and La Marina5 to 6 km65 to 85 min
La Rambleta and Sala Moon3 to 4 km40 to 55 min
Rock City and La Marina5 to 7 km70 to 95 min

The practical conclusion: one festival or one concert per night. If something has to go, make it the second concert, not the transport margin or dinner.

A concert that ends after midnight is more enjoyable with your hotel within walking distance. For La Marina, the Grao and the Cabanyal; for the Palau de la Música and the city-centre venues, the Eixample (Ensanche) or the Alameda.

What don't the listings tell you?

  • The time doors open and the finishing time.
  • The support acts and stage changeovers.
  • The rules on bags, re-entry and the cloakroom.
  • Booking fees, minimum drink purchases or a paid cloakroom.
  • What happens to your ticket if the date changes.

For getting back at night, the night bus network and the metro have their own timetables, which are in getting around Valencia.

What happens if it rains or is windy?

The open-air concerts at La Marina suffer most: heat by day, sea wind and waits without shelter. The indoor venues (Sala Moon, La Rambleta, Rock City, Loco Club, Palau de la Música) are the natural plan B.

None of the listings we consulted publishes the postponement or refund policy for bad weather at open-air festivals. It is in the terms of sale of each ticket.

If music is the reason for your trip, book your accommodation as soon as the line-up is confirmed, and choose the area according to the venue: a hotel near the concert is worth more than a cheap one on the other side of the Turia.

What isn't published

There are no measured waiting times at the entrances, no finishing times and no common refund policy. Nor do we know whether the two band concerts on Sunday at the Palau were separate events or the same session listed twice.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I find this weekend's concerts in Valencia?
The reference is the venue's or promoter's website. Visit Valencia covers the main ones, and aggregators such as FindeValencia, Songkick or Planomato add more dates, but not all of them are confirmed by the venue.
Can you see two concerts on the same night in Valencia?
Rarely. The venues are spread out, and La Marina and Sala Moon are about 5 to 6 km apart. With entry checks and the whole crowd leaving at once, one concert per night is realistic.
What time do concerts finish?
Listings give the start time, almost never the time doors open or the finishing time. To plan your way back, check the venue's website or ask the promoter.
